Shadowrocket Price: One-Time Purchase, In-App Purchases, and Service Plans

Check Shadowrocket’s current price on the App Store, find its In-App Purchases, and understand how the app purchase differs from service plan fees.

At a glance

Shadowrocket is a paid app for Apple platforms, sold as a one-time purchase. The current price is shown on its App Store page. This guide is for anyone checking the cost before buying, moving to a new device after purchase, or distinguishing In-App Purchases from existing service bills. Follow the steps below to verify the app purchase, optional items, and service terms separately. Buying the app does not automatically provide a usable server.

1. How much does Shadowrocket cost? Check the current App Store price

The App Store is the only place to get Shadowrocket. The price button on its product page shows the current cost of the app in that store. Currency, tax display, and availability may vary by storefront and account status. Don’t rely on search snippets, old articles, or screenshots from another region to determine what you’ll pay. Always check the system purchase confirmation before completing a transaction.

A one-time purchase applies to the app itself; it does not buy a period of network service. It also does not mean the app runs on every Apple device or that every future item is included in the same purchase. iPhone and iPad are the primary devices. Check the App Store page for compatibility, system requirements, and purchase eligibility on Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision.

  1. Open the App Store product page from our download guide, and first confirm that the app is named Shadowrocket.
  2. Confirm the developer is Shadow Launch Technology Limited, then check the official icon and app ID 932747118.
  3. Check the amount and currency on the price button. If you see a redownload icon or an Open button, check the purchase history for the current account before drawing conclusions about the price for a new customer.
  4. When you proceed, check the amount and account again on the system confirmation screen. If everything matches, authorize the purchase.

2. Where to find In-App Purchases

The app price and In-App Purchases are separate pieces of information. The presence of an In-App Purchases notice on the product page does not mean the app itself has a monthly fee. Likewise, a one-time app purchase does not tell you what add-on items are available or what they cost. Check each item in the current App Store listing; don’t use old screenshots to fill in details that aren’t shown.

  1. Open Shadowrocket’s App Store product page and scroll down to the information section.
  2. Look for In-App Purchases. If the list can be expanded, open it and check each item’s name and price.
  3. If the product page shows a notice but no full list, check the actual purchase options in the app and the system confirmation screen. Don’t infer what an item is for based on the notice alone.
  4. Check whether the purchase screen specifies a billing period, renewal, or one-time payment. To verify an existing charge, review the purchase history for your Apple Account.

To investigate a charge, open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your Apple Account, then go to Media & Purchases → View Account → Purchase History. Check Subscriptions in your Apple Account for subscription status. Labels may vary with your system language. If an external service doesn’t appear in Apple’s subscription list, that does not prove the service has no separate bill.

3. The app purchase and service plan are separate expenses

Shadowrocket reads connection parameters, establishes connections, and processes traffic according to your configuration. Server addresses, authentication details, available data, and expiration dates come from a service you already have. Buying the app does not generate these parameters, and an App Store receipt is not proof of server access. This site explains how to configure servers and subscriptions you already have.

How to check the costs: Track the app purchase and existing service separately

App purchase records
  • Check the price of Shadowrocket itself in the App Store.
  • Review the receipt and purchase history in your Apple Account.
  • Check any In-App Purchases that were actually made separately.
  • Check device compatibility and system requirements on the product page.
Existing service records
  • Check the term and remaining allowance in the original service account.
  • Confirm the server address, port, and authentication details.
  • Check whether the subscription link is still valid and whether there are device limits.
  • Keep service renewal records separate from app receipts.

App purchase ≠ service plan. Check each separately; payment for one does not prove eligibility to use the other.

For example, the app may open normally while an existing service has expired. Check the service status first rather than buying the app again. Conversely, an active service does not remove the need to get the app on a compatible device and enter the correct parameters. Both sets of requirements must be met before checking the connection and rules.

Bottom line: Identify which account was billed before troubleshooting

If you see a charge or expiration notice, first determine whether it relates to an Apple purchase or an existing service account. Once you identify the transaction, address the purchase record, service term, or configuration as needed. Don’t assume a failed connection means you have to pay for the app again.

4. Moving to a new iPhone or iPad after purchase: check your account and compatibility

When you move to a new device, handle purchase history and app configuration separately. Redownloading depends on the Apple Account used for the purchase, availability in the current storefront, and device compatibility. Server parameters need to be checked separately. Seeing the app on your new device does not mean your configuration files, subscriptions, and authentication details have all been restored.

  1. On the new device, check which Apple Account was used for the purchase. Then look for Shadowrocket in that account’s apps or purchased items.
  2. Open the product page and check the current download button and compatibility. If it still shows a price, first confirm that you’re using the original account and check its purchase history. Don’t pay again right away.
  3. After opening the app, check the server list in Home and the configuration files you need in Config.
  4. For a subscription you already use, confirm the link is still valid before updating, then check whether the server entries have changed. Updating a subscription does not extend the service term.
  5. Follow the system prompts to authorize the connection, then test it manually. If you need automatic connections, check the conditions under Settings → On Demand afterward.

5. Can’t connect after purchase? Check Global Routing, not the price

A successful purchase confirms that the app transaction went through; it does not confirm that the current server is reachable. For first-time setup, select a server you already have in Home, verify the protocol, address, port, and authentication details, then check Global Routing. The three routing modes below are options in the same app, not different pricing tiers.

Config

Recommended

Routes connections according to the rules and policies in the active configuration. Rules may direct traffic, proxy it, or reject it. The outcome depends on the rule that matches; it is not a fixed geographic split.

Best for: Using verified configuration rules to handle everyday traffic

Proxy

Processes connections handled by the app in proxy mode. This can help you check whether rules are affecting access. It won’t fix invalid authentication details or reactivate an expired service.

Best for: Briefly comparing server connectivity with the rules in Config

Direct

Processes connections handled by the app in direct mode, providing a comparison against your local network. If a website opens in this mode, that does not confirm the selected server is working.

Best for: Checking whether your local network can reach a test destination directly

Scene in Global Routing lets you choose routing for a particular scenario; it is not a purchase tier. When troubleshooting, first check which policy the selected scene uses, then compare it with the manually selected mode. If access still fails under Proxy, check the service term, server parameters, and local network rather than changing all your rules at once.

6. Common questions before and after purchase

Does a one-time purchase mean I have to renew through the App Store every month?

The app itself is a one-time purchase, not a monthly subscription. If you see recurring charges, check your Apple purchase history, the actual items under Subscriptions, and bills from any service account you already use. Identify the charge by its item name and payment terms.

Why doesn’t this article list a fixed price?

A single figure can’t account for different storefront currencies and current payment terms. Check the App Store product page using your current account, then confirm the final amount on the system purchase screen. Another user’s receipt only reflects their transaction at that time.

The Home list is empty after purchase. Do I need to buy an in-app item?

An empty list alone does not mean you need to buy anything else. First check whether you’ve imported your own server or subscription and whether your configuration has been transferred. App purchase, importing parameters, and service eligibility are separate steps; an empty list is not evidence that another payment is required.

My existing service has expired. Will redownloading the app restore access?

Redownloading does not change the term or data allowance recorded by the service. Check the status in your original service account first; if the service is active, check the app’s parameters. If you need to get the app again, use the App Store and save any necessary configuration beforehand.
